Lester Landslide Ladies :  Rock

Il Rock and roll diventa subito la voce narrante scelta per le loro storie.

In piedi, nel mezzo di un turbinio di generi ,questa band sembra destinata ad essere se stessa  perché incapace di fingere qualcosa di diverso. Scontrano istericamente insieme il primo glam rock, l’essenzialità tipica del punk rock, gusto per le melodie del power pop ed un power Rock & Roll. 

Fatti:

Oltre 600 concerti negli ultimi 8 anni (Italia, UK, Germania, Austria, Slovenia, Ungheria, Francia, Svizzera), la condivisione palco con band come New York Dolls, Backyard Babies, Vibrators, Cockney Rejects, Sham 69, Angelic Upstarts, Faster Pussycat, Hanoi Rocks, US Bombs, The Dogs D’Amour, Quireboys, Paul Collins Beat, LA Guns, EZN, Black Halos, Texas Terri Bomb, Tuff,  Tigertailz ecc non impediscono alla band di rilasciare ben quattro LP in studio ed un live album.

Presentato su numerose compilation, l’approccio di questi ragazzi è sempre stato vincente, la musica arriva attraverso un sound veramente unico che ci mette faccia a faccia con il loro essere. Questa band non ha mai smesso di esibirsi e continua a suonare senza sosta dal momento che questo è la  loro condizione naturale. L’affetto del pubblico e della stampa che hanno sempre sostenuto la band non può che essere la motivazione per continuare il loro viaggio proprio sicuri di non essere soli.

Il gruppo produce tre video clip, datati 2005, 2008 e 2011.

Diventano poi anche  una tesi in sociologia “Glam Rock: giochi, maschere e spettacoli” dal Dr. Alimonte.

Rock and roll immediately becomes the narrating voice chosen for their tale. Standing in the middle of a whirlwind of genres with a rock impromptu this band seems doomed to be themselves because incapable to pretend. Clashing hysterically together the flamboyant sass of early glam rock, the typical starkness of punk rock, a power pop taste for catchy melodies and an hi powered rock and roll

Over 600 gigs in the last 8 years (Italy, U.K., Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Hungary, France, Switzerland), sharing stage with such band as New York Dolls, Backyard Babies, Vibrators, Cockney Rejects, Sham 69, Angelic Upstarts, Faster Pussycat, Hanoi Rocks, U.S. Bombs, The Dogs D’Amour, Quireboys, Paul Collins Beat, L.A. Guns, EZN, Black Halos, Texas Terri Bomb, Tuff, Tigertailz etc do not prevent the band from releasing four studio lps and a live album.

Featured on several compilations and tribute cds, the approach those guys are always able to win the day, delivering the goods through a truly unique sound that brings back an in your face attitude. This band has never stopped performing and keeps playing restlessly since this is their natural condition. The affection of the audience and the press likes that have always supported the band can only be motivation in order to continue their own travel sure not to be alone.
