60 Second Swingers

Dalla Francia un classico Punk

Ho ricevuto questa recensione da una etichetta francese dove mi si presentava questa punk band con l’uscita di un vinile 7″.
Si tratta di un Classic Punk che diverte!

Follow-up to the 60 Second Swingers’ first release on Fuzz Overdose Records, this new piece brings together two tracks of pure sonic madness, driven by manic organ, acid guitars and cryptic howls!

A side opens with an original song, the frantic Lonely & Blue, a guaranteed hit for all you cavemen and cavegirls, which primitve rythm and extreme amount of Fuzz will surely make you go freakin’ Bananaz on your living room’s dancefloor.

Though the band’s influences are closer to the 80’s sound of the Miracle Workers or the Untold Fables, it’s a cover of a 60’s garage-punk classic, 60 Second Swinger by Little Phil and The Night Shadows, that can be found on Side B. An outrageous rendition of the song, that fits perfectly on this new 60SS’ release.
Recorded in Toulouse, France, by Lo’Spider, with a cover art by Christophe Lopez-Huici, the record is to be released on May 18, 2012.

A-Side: Lonely and Blue
